The New Economic Order was a set of proposals by the United Nations to improve the level of development and welfare of the population in favor of third world countries. More than 50 years after its legacy, and the grievance of poverty in developing countries, it has become necessary to create new mechanisms that allow for a fair and equitable international economic order among nations. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to analyze the evolution of patterns of international trade; population levels; foreign direct investment; number of patents and education levels within the period 1970-2020 for the regions of Europe, Asia, and America. The methodology to be used in this research will be Geographic Information Systems (GIS), as well as heat maps. The databases have been taken from multiple international organizations. The results obtained will allow for the observation of the evaluation of the international economic order for the mentioned regions.”
