Local cohomology of subspace arrangements

Local cohomology modules are algebraic objects that encode geometric properties of algebraic varieties. We present joint work with Abraham Pascoe, providing a new understanding of local cohomology with support in squarefree monomial ideals, and subspace arrangements more generally.
